The Design Museum is now open in its spectacular new location on High Street Kensington. We were sad to see it leave its original home near our studio in London Bridge. However, after taking a look around we recommend putting a visit to the top of your ‘to do’ list!
There is a free permanent exhibition on the top floor, which looks at the Designer, Maker and User’s relationship with 20th-21st-century products. A huge collection of iconic objects from fashion to technology is displayed and dissected, taking you on a journey of how the industrial revolution and technology have changed the way we use and manufacture our day-to-day products. And if this isn’t enough to get you on your way, the beauty of the new building is a spectacle in itself!
Currently showing until 23 April 2017 is Fear and Love: Reactions to a Complex World – 11 installations from some of the most thought-provoking designers and architects working today. See what else is on
