The brief

We have worked with Christian Aid on a number of digital projects. Christian Aid Week is a good example of 2 highly innovative campaigns. The client wanted to engage and connect worshippers across the nation. An idea was hatched to have a live prayer feed to their website accessible via text message.

The solution

PowWow designed the interface with the live text feeds contained within speech bubbles. We developed the back-end requirements and made the whole page scrollable. This enabled the user to click and bring forward the floating prayer boxes. The target number of prayers submitted exceeded expectations and the idea was re-purposed the following year with a display of interactive daily advent messages.

The result

Powwow have supported the Christian Aid teams across a number of campaigns and appeals over the last 6 years. Their speed of response and ability to translate stories and events into highly creative and eye catching communications continue to support us in providing urgent help and assistance to tackling world poverty.
